![]() Too bad they never offered a secret decoder molar! Every morning, I would perch in front of my radio, (just like Ralphie in "A Christmas Story" waiting for Little Orphan Annie) ready to hear the next broadcast from the dental asylum located in the Tishamingo Towers. Listening once again to these misadventures of Newton Snookers brought back great high school memories from the early 70's, when I first heard them. ![]() To a true fan of the Molar Marauder (me), price is no object, well, almost! This package is a great value and very nicely conceived. Package is a great value and very nicely conceived Wonderful stuff! The Tooth Fairy aired without my knowledge in the 70's, so this IS hearing it for the first time!!! Still am not all the way thru, but did want to let you know the smiles and chortles these episodes evoke. The new format is welcome it allows me to retire my 35 year oldĬassette tapes, and enjoy the very well written and performed serialĪnew! They are as entertaining now as then. Thank you for issuing the complete Tooth Fairy Collection on CD! I will enjoy this (and my Chickenman set as well) for many, many years to come! Many thanks to you, Dick Orkin, all of the other voice talent and production people involved for making this amazing comedy available to the public. I am delighted with the quality of the audio and I and my son were already on a Tooth Fairy marathon in the car today. Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know the Tooth Fairy collection arrived today. I and my son were already on a Tooth Fairy marathon in the car Those were fun times, and so are The Adventures of The Tooth Fairy I return to 1973 every episode, reliving my mis-spent youth listening to the radio, staring in mirror at my pimpled self, and digging bottomless pits to trap my neighbor's Chihuahua. Newton Snookers' daily losing battle of wits with Nurse Durken is sublime in its idiocy as it is in its dry, dead pan execution. On the heels of the White Winged Warrior, fluttered the Adventures of the Tooth Fairy, who collected the Chicken Man's teeth as they were beaten weekly out of his skull. And did Chickenman manage without the Mammoth Dental Organ ?Īnd did the President end up watching Bonanza? A totally unique (apart from Chickenman, of course)creation that makes radio stand out as a medium of special value. ![]()
